BIS certification

India's product certification implements the principle of voluntary certification, which aims to provide end consumers with quality-assured, safe and reliable products. Taking into account factors such as public health and safety and mass consumption, the Indian government enforces mandatory certification for specific products by issuing immediate laws. The Indian Bureau of Standards only applies for the certification of the certificate, and the specific work to be enforced is carried out by the relevant authority.
